[CERES]: Eight
state and city treasurers and comptrollers and two major labor pension
fund leaders issued a 10point “Call for Action” demanding new steps by
the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), corporate boards and
Wall Street firms to increase corporate disclosure of the risks posed
by climate change to investors. As part of the call for action, the ten
pension fund leaders announced the formation of a new Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR).
It’s so interesting to see an ostensibly ‘pro-business’ US government lagging so far behind business leaders on these issues.
