Re-Opened: Booking Agent opportunity!

This is a remarkable opportunity for a remarkable person.

We’re looking for an unusual sales person — a real go-getter who wants to sell something that matters — to fill the speaking schedules for four nationally known speakers/authors who given hundreds of inspirational keynotes and workshops on sustainability and its value in business, architecture, design and futures.

We’re eager to increase the reach and effectiveness of our messages by greatly increasing our visibility, and by building relationships that will lead to further work. We already have great lists of hot leads and contacts for you (but we’re too busy to do it ourselves). We need you — as our dedicated booking agent — to contact and close them.

Our speaking clients include business, sales and sustainability conferences, trade association conferences, corporate meetings and retreats, universities, civic associations and other events. The four speakers have very little overlap, so you will be able to cross-promote us and leverage our past bookings to generate new ones.

The person we seek is a disciplined, well-organized and well-spoken person who loves to sell — and who has successfully sold high-ticket speakers, workshops, events and/or consulting engagements.

Responsibilities: Identify prospective events; develop and qualify leads; negotiate and close deals; and ensure high “touch” and high client satisfaction.

Success metrics: Book 2-5 well-paid keynote engagements per month for each speaker. (We’re already booking many events ourselves, and you’ll build on our current efforts.)

Compensation: This position is COMMISSION ONLY, and requires an energetic, effective self-starter. We believe the right person should be able to earn well in excess of $250k/year — and we’ll provide incentive bonuses for exceptional performance.
