The Green Spa Network (GSN) represents a coalition of spas whose goal is to improve environmental practices throughout their industry. Its purpose is to bring sustainable operating practices to the spa industry, and to promote the natural connections between personal well-being, economic sustainability and the health of the planet.
In 2007, GSN asked Natural Logic to support this work, including:
- Conduct Integrated EcoAssessments for the seed members of the network. Natural Logic conducted six site assessments, looking at core values, energy use, water use, material use, procurement, process flow and customer experience.
- Help take the first steps to produce a Guidebook with tips on how spas can create a better relationship with the earth and market this success both internally and externally.
GSN presented the results at its annual gathering in April of 2007. Next steps include distilling best practices to include in its Guidebook.
