Arthur Young is Principal of Communication Management, providing strategic marketing, business planning, writing and marketing communication tools to move enterprise forward.
Arthur has been PR Director of Panasonic (its first), The Public Relations Society of America (its first) National Planned Parenthood and Pacific Telephone; and VP Operations or Assignments Editor or Manager for ABC, NBC and CBS Network News. He was a group supervisor for Hill & Knowlton.
He has served as managing editor for Green Building News, and counseled such clients as BP Solar, Solar Design Associates, Rana Creek, the City of San Francisco, Natural Logic, Conservatek, the US Green Building Council, the Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance. He wrote the protocol summary document for all Asian nations for the UN’s Kyoto Climate Change Summit (except Japan).
Arthur has taught Sustainability Marketing, Project Management and Marketing Renewable at UC Berkeley and Boston Architectural College, and graduated Yale University’s Corporate Environmental Leadership Program. He is an Accredited Member of PRSA; a Green Building Certified Professional; and, a LEED Accredited Professional.
